Product Description
Assembled in the USA by ModalAI for VOXL 2, the M0186 is a low-light FPV camera module based on the Sony Starvis 2 IMX664 sensor. It records at up to 2704x1540 (4.08 MP) at 120 fps, and its large 1/1.8" sensor gives it the low-light sensitivity that makes it our default EO camera for FPV.
The module uses micro-coax for mounting flexibility and requires an adapter to reach VOXL 2 — M0173 or M0155, purchased separately. It can be paired with a Boson+ 640 for EO/IR FPV. M0186 is the standard EO sensor in the MVX VTX Air Unit and in Stinger Vision FPV. NDAA compliant.

The lens is removable and swappable — there may be a small touch of glue holding focus, which can be broken to replace the lens.
Note: without an IR-cut filter, outdoor colors are distorted by ambient IR. Vegetation in particular reflects IR and will not appear green. See the datasheet for sample images and an IMX412/IMX664 comparison.
