Product Description
The VOXL Mini 4-in-1 ESC (M0129) is a lightweight electronic speed controller for small unmanned aircraft, assembled in the USA. It is NDAA-compliant and on the Blue UAS Framework list, where it is named VOXL 4IN1 ESC. It communicates with your flight controller over low-latency bi-directional UART at up to 2 Mbit/s, so the autopilot commands RPM directly and receives real-time RPM, temperature, voltage and current feedback.
At 5.87 g it also serves as the vehicle's power module: the main regulated output powers a VOXL 2 or VOXL 2 Mini directly, removing a separate board from the stack. Closed-loop RPM control, regenerative braking and smooth sinusoidal spin-up come standard.
Select the correct version for your compute board: the 3.8 V version (M0129-3, M0129-63) powers VOXL 2 Mini; the 5 V version (M0129-5, M0129-65) powers VOXL 2.
This Mini ESC is sized for small aircraft — vehicles under 750 g, or under 500 g in FPV use. If your build is larger, choose by type rather than weight alone:
- FPV on 5-inch, 7-inch or 10-inch propellers — use the VOXL FPV Racing 4-in-1 ESC (M0138). 100 A peak and 40 A continuous per motor, with a switchable VTX power output.
