The List of U.S. Drone Manufacturers is Growing!

Here at ModalAI, we pride ourselves in providing drone perception and communications systems manufactured in the USA. We’ve had the honor of working alongside the Department of Defense (DoD) to develop US-made, autonomous flight controllers like the VOXL Flight and Flight Core for their various projects. Earlier this year, we received a $3 million award from the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) to advance American-made sUAS autopilots .

Advanced Aircraft Company, Hampton, VA

Altavian is an aerospace and defense company headquartered in Gainesville, FL. Founded in 2011, Altavian has grown out of its start-up stages into a small-company of over 40 employees. Altavian produces and manufactures its equipment in-house. The engine of our core design process is our multi-disciplinary engineering team.
